Today, I would like to introduce you to Sergey S..
Sergey is one of the most respected voices in the BESS industry, and the person I have chosen to build the English edition of our BESS 2026 programme with.
He brings a different background. A different way of looking at projects.
And, sometimes, a different way of looking at the same technical problem. That matters.
Because a decision that seems correct from an engineering perspective may create challenges for application engineers, safety engineers or commercial teams.
That is exactly what we want this new edition to reflect. Two different career paths. Two complementary technical perspectives. Hands-on experience from real projects.
And the discussions—and occasional disagreements—that arise when you go beyond theory.
As Sergey says : “The diversity of experience is one of the greatest strengths of this course.”
I completely agree. At The BESS Academy, we are extremely proud to have him with us for this new chapter.
Sergey and Juan Alvarez could have created two separate courses. Indeed that is true as well ;-)
But together, we can create something much stronger than either of us could build alone.
